El Paso is a beautiful high city located in the high desert of west Texas to the north there are the Franklin Mountains that features beautiful hiking trails with views of the city it also has wonderful picnicking sites that are perfect for a little getaway. El Paso is also home, to the south, Chamizal National Memorial Park it is a 300 acre park of witch 55 acres are on the U.S. side of the border, it contains replicas of some of Mexico’s most historic sites like Uxmal, Chichenitza and Teotihuacán. It is also home to Fort Bliss Military Base and to the south is Mexico however I can’t recommend and cross border trips at this time however; here are a few spots that I am sure you can find some other exciting things to do just use the list below.
